Hope Channel International Launches Campaign to Combat Holiday Loneliness, Beginning in Times Square, New York City

In response to the heightened sense of loneliness prevalent during the holiday season, Hope Channel International (HCI) is stepping forward with a heartfelt campaign to foster connections and address the epidemic of isolation in our society. At the heart of this initiative is a strategic billboard placement in the iconic Times Square in New York City.

The holiday season, often perceived as a time of joy and togetherness, can unfortunately be a challenging period for many individuals facing loneliness. Recognizing this widespread concern, HCI is dedicating its efforts to nurturing connections between individuals, families, friends, communities, and the world, all while emphasizing the importance of spiritual connection with God.

“As we commit to reaching one billion people with the message of eternal hope before 2030, HCI is embracing innovative strategies to create meaningful connections and foster a sense of community,” said Vyacheslav Demyan, president of HCI. “Our commitment to addressing the emotional wellbeing of individuals during the holiday season led us to undertake this initiative."

With the support of the North American Division (NAD), this campaign aims to shine a light on the issue of loneliness and inspire positive change. The focal point of this endeavor is a digital billboard in Times Square. Positioned where an average of 330,000 people pass through daily, this strategic move amplifies HCI’s reach to millions from diverse backgrounds.

G. Alexander Bryant, NAD president, expressed his excitement about this collaboration with HCI. "This is a tremendous opportunity. Our communication team and so many others seized this moment in a miraculous way to share a word of hope to those who are desperately looking for it," he said.

From December 15 to February 29, the HCI/NAD billboard will illuminate Times Square, captivating attention for 30 seconds every hour. It serves as a visual reminder of the campaign's message: the importance of reaching out, fostering connections, and finding comfort in the company of loved ones and God.

As the billboard lights up Times Square, HCI encourages onlookers to capture the moment by taking pictures and videos with the display and sharing them to social media. This engagement will further extend the reach of the message, creating a ripple effect of hope.
