Hope Channel International Celebrates the Launch of Hope Channel Canada

Silver Spring, Maryland (March 21, 2024) – Hope Channel International (HCI) proudly announces the official launch of Hope Channel Canada, a significant milestone in its mission to spread a message of eternal hope and healing across the globe. 

The launch ceremony, held in Ontario, Canada, on March 1, 2024, brought together a vibrant community of supporters, including multiple union executive officers and presidents of Canadian conferences. The event was held to thank all who played a crucial role in making this dream a reality.

Although HCI President Vyacheslav Demyan was unable to attend, his encouraging presence was felt through a recorded video message played at the ceremony. The event was highlighted by heartfelt speeches and gestures, including Gideon Mutero, HCI vice president for finance, who extended a warm welcome to Hope Channel Canada into the global network of 83 channels.

In addition, Chanmin Chung, senior director of television distribution, presented a plaque, carrying with it the promise of joining hands to share the message of eternal hope around the world.

Hope Channel content has been available in Canada for some time, allowing Canadians access to its life-changing programming. With the launch of Hope Channel Canada, a dedicated studio now enables the creation of original content tailored to the Canadian audience. This development will strengthen the channel's impact, providing content that nurtures faith, health, relationships, and community. The shared studio space and equipment with It Is Written reflect a commitment to efficiently utilizing resources to further the gospel's reach.

Evaldo Vicente, executive director of Hope Channel Canada, is thrilled about the new opportunities this brings: “This is a milestone that has been years in the making, with the contribution of several media pioneers. We look forward to sharing with Canada and the world that, in Jesus, there’s more to life!”
