Hope Channel International Transfers Key Hope.Cloud Technologies to the General Conference for Global Church Use

Feb 25, 2025, 6:21 PM

Hope Channel International has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to transfer key technological services under the Hope.Cloud platform for use by the world church, as part of the family of solutions called Adventist.Cloud. This agreement, signed on February 4, 2025, marks a significant step in leveraging cutting-edge media technology to advance the Adventist mission globally.

The MOU formalizes the transfer of three essential Hope.Cloud modules: Jetstream Playout, Jetstream Stock, Jetstream Studio, and the Hope.Cloud Admin Panel. This ensures that church entities worldwide can access and utilize these mission-driven digital tools. While this agreement makes these mission-focused resources available to the broader church, Hope Channel International remains committed to providing all services as before to the Hope Channel Global Network through Hope.Cloud. This continued support empowers affiliates in their mission while fostering stronger collaboration and unity in fulfilling the mission of reaching 1 billion people with the message of eternal hope.

Hope.Cloud has already played a vital role in expanding the Hope Channel global network, equipping both new and growing channels with the ability to share content seamlessly. By offering scalable, centralized solutions, Hope.Cloud has made it possible for media ministries to launch and operate without the need for extensive infrastructure. These advancements have strengthened the network’s collective impact, accelerating its ability to reach new territories and connect with diverse audiences in their own languages and cultural contexts.

Vyacheslav Demyan, president of Hope Channel International, underscored the significance of this agreement, stating: “From the earliest days of our movement, Adventists have embraced technology as a means to spread the gospel. This agreement reflects that same pioneering spirit, equipping the world church with powerful digital tools to reach more people, in more places, with the hope of Jesus.”

“Hope Channel International is pleased to share these mission resources with the world church and appreciates the recognition of its innovative technological developments by the General Conference,” said Gideon Mutero, vice president for finance at Hope Channel International.

"We're witnessing a transformative moment in church ministry! Through this groundbreaking partnership with Hope Channel International, the General Conference, on behalf of the World Church, is introducing powerful new digital tools that will amplify our local church's reach and impact. Together, we seek to equip every Seventh-day Adventist congregation with resources that make sharing the Three Angels Messages more effective than ever before,” said Richard Stephenson, associate treasurer of the General Conference. “It is our continued prayer that the Holy Spirit will use these innovations to exponentially spread hope and salvation to every language, nation, tribe, and people! To God be the Glory!"

The MOU was signed by Paul Douglas, treasurer of the General Conference, whose support has been instrumental in advancing digital evangelism within the church.

From pioneering media strategies to launching the first Adventist content delivery network, Hope Channel International continues to make advances in media evangelism, providing ministries with tools to help share the message of eternal hope effectively.
