Hope Channel International has invited independent Adventist content creators to become associate members of its global media network, an appeal made during the General Conference (GC) Creator Summit in Silver Spring, Maryland, held July 20 to 23.

Sam Neves and Robbie Berghan, vice presidents of Hope Channel, said the initiative seeks to connect them with the church's worldwide media ministry while preserving each creator's voice and mission. The invitation is part of Hope Channel's goal to reach one billion people with the gospel of Jesus by 2030.

"Independent creators are already reaching people we cannot reach alone. We want to walk alongside them so that every gift finds its place in the mission," said Sam Neves, vice president for advancement, communication, and marketing at Hope Channel International.

The summit itself centered on digital mission. Manuel Arteaga, director of the General Conference Center for Urban Mission, told creators that reaching the world's cities now depends on the digital landscape. "God didn't call us to be influencers. God called us to be witnesses," he said. "We carry a message, not a brand."

The room drew content creators, influencers, and social media managers from around the world. Brazilian archaeologist and communicator Rodrigo Silva, whose digital ministry reaches more than eight million followers, urged them to measure influence by faithfulness rather than numbers. "Influence is not about numbers; it's about faithfulness to God and to His mission," he said.

Participants also worked together on communication strategies for OneVoice27, the church's global digital evangelism emphasis that builds toward September 2027, when Adventists worldwide will celebrate the 2,000th anniversary of the start of Jesus' ministry with a united proclamation of the gospel. Its theme, "All Things New: Hope Starts Here," draws from Revelation 21:5. Creators and churches can find resources and join the effort at https://onevoice27.org.

For Hope Channel, the summit was a chance to come alongside independent creators and add their voices to one shared calling, carrying the gospel of Jesus across the digital world.
