What Would the Apostles Say About Net 2.0?
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support for the NET 2.0 vision. This next phase will require all of us to collaborate like never before. If we lean into this moment together, under the Spirit’s guidance, we can shape a movement that not only proclaims Jesus but transforms hearts and communities around the world.
As I prayed over this, I wondered: What would the apostles say to us now? What counsel would they give to shape NET 2.0 and prepare us to reach one billion people? I offer the following reflections as encouragement for the road ahead.
______
To the leaders of NET 2.0, workers in this final hour,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Proclaim Jesus Boldly and Clearly
“We preach Christ crucified…” (1 Corinthians 1:23).
Lift up Jesus in every sermon, video, post, and Bible study. Do not be ashamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16), for it is the power of God to break through hardened hearts.
2. Do Not Rely on Technology Alone
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6).
Your tools are digital, but your power must be spiritual. No algorithm can replace the Holy Spirit. NET 2.0 must be Spirit-born, Spirit-empowered, and Spirit-led.
3. Reach People Where They Are
“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22).
Use every language, platform, and method. Whether through reels, sermons, or messages, meet people in their culture and lead them to the unchanging Christ.
4. Guard the Message from Compromise
“Even if we or an angel... preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!” (Galatians 1:8).
Keep the message pure. Speak the truth in love, but do not silence it for fear of offense.
5. Equip and Send Others
“The things you have heard from me... entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2).
Train the local church. Empower the young. Raise up digital missionaries and global disciples.
6. Expect Persecution, But Do Not Fear
“We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22).
Some will reject the message. Others may mock. But your scars will become testimonies. Press on. Jesus is worth it.
7. Stay United in Love and Purpose
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).
Let there be no pride, no competition, no division. The gospel advances best when we are one (John 17).
8. Look to the Soon Return of Christ
“This same Jesus… will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).
Never forget why you labor. The harvest is great. Work as though the trumpet is already sounding.
Be strong and very courageous. Be faithful. Be bold. Be humble. And above all, lift up Christ. For we are witnesses of these things, and you are the torchbearers now.
Your brothers in the mission,
Peter, John, Paul, James, and the others.

A Miracle in Meyyur and a Movement Across India
Swamidass Johnson, Hope Channel India

In a nation of over 1.4 billion people and extraordinary religious diversity, Hope Channel India is breaking barriers with the message of eternal hope. Through four regional studios, content is produced in multiple languages and distributed via satellite, online platforms, and 24 localized YouTube channels. The impact stretches from bustling cities to quiet villages.
One recent outreach effort took place in Nizamuddin, a historic, predominantly Islamic neighborhood in New Delhi. Despite the challenges, nearly 200 people attended an outdoor evangelistic series, including 70 children. Four individuals made decisions for Christ, and ten more are now preparing for baptism. This is just one example of how media ministry is creating opportunities where face-to-face outreach is often limited.
Elsewhere in the country, in the small village of Meyyur, a different kind of transformation unfolded. Adhilakshmi and her husband had endured 21 painful years of childlessness. Shamed by relatives and burdened by grief, they carried their sorrow in silence. Until one day, Adhilakshmi came across a Hope Channel India program. The message brought comfort and led her to local Christian meetings. Despite community opposition, her family continued seeking God, and eventually, a small church was planted in their village.
That very month, something extraordinary happened: after more than two decades of infertility, Adhilakshmi became pregnant. Their healthy baby boy, Samuel, was born soon after and dedicated in the very church they had helped build. After years of waiting, the family now celebrates a living, breathing miracle from God.
Whether in crowded cities or quiet villages, Hope Channel India is helping people encounter the hope of Jesus. And in every place, God is still doing miracles.

Technology Meets Mission in Romania
Valentin Popescu, Speranța TV

To reach today’s generation, we must go beyond traditional methods and step into the digital-first world they already live in. That’s exactly what Speranța TV has done.
On May 31, Speranța TV launched Speranța Academy, a digital platform created to help people engage with God’s Word in a fresh, accessible way. The platform offers free Bible courses designed to be short, meaningful, and deeply rooted in Scripture.
At the heart of this initiative is “Adam,” an AI-powered chatbot that responds to Bible questions using trusted Adventist resources. Built with care and prayer, Adam isn’t just a tool. It’s a bridge. A way for anyone, anywhere, to start a conversation about faith and truth, no matter the hour.
The response has been remarkable. On launch night alone, Adam interacted with 1,300 unique users. In the first five days, he answered 7,684 Bible questions and continues to respond to around 650 questions every day. Hundreds of students are already enrolled in courses on the platform.
The impact is being noticed beyond the Adventist community. Costi Gogoneață, General Director of Speranța TV, received encouraging feedback from leaders outside the church. A Pentecostal theologian commented, “With this project, you’ve moved light-years ahead of the evangelicals.” A Baptist advisor from the Ministry of Digitalization shared, “The music is top-tier. The Adventists are in first place, then there’s a gap of 5–6 places before the others.”
In alignment with the Strategic Framework — which emphasizes connecting digital contacts with local churches — Beatrice Lospa, Director of Speranța Academy, explained that the next major step for Speranța Academy is the launch of a mentorship program. Through this program:
Users will be matched with mentors from their geographical region
Mentors will guide them toward nearby churches and spiritual communities
A direct communication system and availability calendar will be integrated

Engagement will also be supported through newsletters and local events, organized in collaboration with Sola Scriptura bookstores and nearby churches. Over 30 pastors and spiritual leaders have already expressed their willingness to participate, giving the team a solid foundation to launch this next phase.
Now live at www.academiasperanta.ro, all Bible courses are freely available, and users can explore Scripture interactively through the Adam chatbot.
God is opening doors in Romania in new and innovative ways—reaching people not just in churches or meetings, but on screens, in quiet moments, and through conversations sparked by a question and answered with the Word.

When Faith Becomes a Crime: Layla’s Journey of Courage and Hope
Martina Gomez, Hope Channel MENA
Layla grew up in a country where religion was part of daily life but faith was never a choice. Though she longed to know God deeply, her spiritual questions went unanswered. During nursing school, doubt settled in. Life felt empty and religion no longer gave her peace.
Everything changed when she stumbled upon an Instagram page from Hope Channel MENA sharing Bible verses in her own language. The words felt personal, comforting, like they were written just for her. She started messaging the channel, asking questions quietly, afraid of being discovered. But on the other side of the screen, someone listened. Someone answered with kindness and truth.
They connected her with a local house church where she found community and courage. As her faith grew, so did the risks, but she chose Jesus anyway. Eventually, she was baptized in secret.
Today Layla lives in another country in her region where she serves with Hope Channel MENA’s Follow-Up team, the same ministry that once guided her. Now she is the one answering messages, nurturing seekers in their own language, walking patiently with them through doubt and discovery. Through her messages, others are finding the same hope she once longed for.
Hope Channel MENA didn’t just share content; it walked with her, and now she walks with others.

Hope in the Midst of War
Volodymyr Mykhed, Hope Media Group Ukraine

Even in the middle of war, the mission continues. At Hope Media Group Ukraine, we’re under immense pressure from all sides: psychological, spiritual, and physical. At times, it feels like we’re in the lions’ den, just like Daniel. And yet, just like him, we are not alone. The Lord is near. We see it in small things and in big ones. He is our Defender. He is our Strength.
Despite everything — the war, the exhaustion, the fear, the uncertainty — we stand. And we stand not because we are strong, but because God is holding us. His presence is real. He lifts us up through prayers, through Bible verses, through your support, through warm words that reach us from all over the world.
We know this: we are not alone. We have a great spiritual family — brothers and sisters around the globe. We are not abandoned. We are not forgotten. We are in His hands. And in that truth lies our hope, our light, and our faith.
Hope Media Group Ukraine continues to serve. A live broadcasting studio in Kyiv operates at full capacity with 30 staff. Across the country, eight studios remain active, supported by nearly 180 employees committed to sharing the gospel—even in the darkest times.
One of those broadcasts reached Tetiana. This is her story.
When the full-scale war began, life in Orikhiv collapsed in an instant. I had to leave everything—my home, my belongings, even my documents—and walk over 50 kilometers into the unknown. I found refuge at a Seventh-day Adventist Church, where the Lord gave me a new family and hope.
One day, I was invited to take the online Bible lessons offered by the Hope Media Group. Through those lessons, I truly discovered—for the first time—the character of God, His truth, and His promises of peace and eternal life. These lessons became my source of strength and calm in a time filled with pain and loss.
My son has been on the front lines since the first days of the war. Every day, I place him—and my own life—into God’s hands. He is my rock and my hope.
In early 2025, in Zaporizhzhia, I made the most important decision of my life: I entered into a covenant with the Lord through baptism. It was a day of great joy and peace in my heart, even in the midst of war. Praise God for His love and for the beautiful family of faith I’ve found in the Church!

A New Mission Hub for France’s Digital Generation
Emanuel Ban, Hope Channel MonEspérance

Every hour, someone in France requests a Bible.
That’s the pace of what God is doing through Hope Channel MonEspérance. In just April and May of 2025, 1,429 Bible requests and 699 Bible study enrollments came in—a clear sign of growing spiritual hunger.
At the heart of this movement is www.monesperance.fr, our custom-built digital hub where visitors can request a Bible, submit prayer requests, or sign up for Bible studies. So far, over 1,200 people have signed up to study the Bible, and more than 1,700 Bibles and 221 New Testaments have already been shipped across France and beyond.
We also reach seekers through our YouTube channel, Adventiste FFN, where major online evangelism campaigns like Et si Dieu existait, L’Avenir révélé, and Le Triomphe de l’Espoir have generated over 207,000 views.
This digital momentum now has a physical home. On May 17, 2025, the Northern France Conference inaugurated the new MonEspérance Studio in Paris—a media space created to meet seekers where they are: on screens, in apps, and across social platforms. Click here to see the studio for yourself.
More than a technical facility, the studio is a mission hub. It brings together media, prayer, and evangelism teams under one roof to produce short-form videos, livestreams, podcasts, and training content. It also opens its doors to outside initiatives including testimonies, events, and conferences, building a dynamic ecosystem in service of the gospel.
But numbers aren’t the end goal. What makes this ministry truly powerful is the human touch. We don’t stop at digital contact. We connect seekers with local churches, guides, and conversations that walk with them from curiosity to commitment.
Hope is alive in France, and it’s just getting started.

When Stories Become Seeds of Faith
Hannah Luttrell, Hope Channel International
“Is God even real? If He is, what kind of God is He? And how does that impact my life today?” With the completion of its 100th episode in Season 5 this past May, these are the big questions that Hope@Night continues to explore.
Designed with a relaxed, late-night format, Hope@Night targets the very people Hope Channel exists to reach: non-Christians, non-Adventists, and spiritual seekers. In alignment with the Impactful focus of the Strategic Framework, each episode is filmed before a live audience from a variety of backgrounds—religious and non-religious alike.
Interview guests include a man who appeared on America’s Most Wanted, a girl born without arms or legs, a former pornography filmmaker, parents whose daughter was murdered, and a former Satan worshipper, as well as top theologians, scientists, mathematicians and archaeologists. Their powerful stories point to deep biblical truths made real through experience.
In one recent week of taping, out of 31 audience members:
· 4 requested Bible studies
· 2 asked to visit a local Adventist church
· 4 wanted to recommit their lives to God
· 14 said they “fell more in love with God”
Season after season, the pattern has held, with audience members confessing deep personal shifts in their view of God, Scripture, and even church. Their reactions speak volumes:
Khawaja (returning guest): “The show always makes me realize God exists.”
Haritha: “I grew up Hindu... I [believed] that... Christians are very sexist, homophobic, etc. But Hope at Night clarified that... Christianity as a religion is about love.”
Austin: “I [am] agnostic... but there’s a certain strength I see in religious people. Some of the guests had gone through tragedies that I think would be nearly impossible to survive without faith.”
Dulce: “I’m a Christian, but I had questions and confusion. Hearing these stories reminded me that with God by your side, you’ll never be alone.”
Janae (former Adventist): “This show brought me back to God.”
Shawntia: “I want to incorporate the Sabbath now that I understand it better. I would love to read the entire Bible.”
Clips have gone viral, shared by non-Adventists influencers with millions of followers. Hope@Night shows what’s possible when storytelling becomes soul-winning. To see more testimonies of audience members, click here.

Lighting Lamps in the Chinese World
Johnny Chen, Hope Channel Chinese
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back.” (Isaiah 54:2) This verse captures the heartbeat of Hope Channel Chinese.
In 2007, the channel was launched in Taiwan as part of the global vision to share the gospel through media. Since then, the team has embraced what they call a “dual-track strategy,” combining health-focused content to attract hearts with spiritual truth to guide lives. With one channel operating across two studios, they’ve built a dynamic, mission-driven presence to serve the Chinese-speaking world.
As the media landscape has transformed in recent years, the ministry has expanded beyond satellite and cable TV to include digital platforms. Today, the gospel is no longer limited to one channel—it can appear on anyone’s screen, at any time, through the official website, YouTube, Facebook, and the mobile app.

And the impact is tangible. One brother, David Lin, was amazed by a program’s explanation of the Sabbath and began searching for a Seventh-day Adventist church. Another sister, Grace Huang, was so moved by what she saw that she committed to praying for ten friends or family members daily and calling them with words of care. Her actions deepened her own faith and touched the lives of those who received her calls.
Some viewers have changed their diets and regained health. Others have reached out on their own to learn more about faith.
Hope Channel Chinese sees media as the extension of the tent Isaiah mentioned—reaching into homes and hearts with light, truth, and love. As long as even one soul is still searching, it’s worth lighting a lamp for them.

Why Hope Channel Had to Come to Nepal
Binod Dahal, Hope Channel Nepal

Nepal is a land of breathtaking beauty—and extreme geographical challenges. Towering mountains and deep valleys make door-to-door evangelism nearly impossible. Many villages are tucked away on remote hillsides, far from regular ministry.
Yet even in those places, people are longing for truth. They pray. They ask questions. They wait for someone to explain the Word of God. Karna Bir Thapa was one of them.
A devoted Christian from another denomination, Karna loved God and studied his Bible. But as he read more, he noticed a disconnect between Scripture and what he heard preached. “If the Bible is true,” he wondered, “why aren’t we following all of it?”
With sincere hunger, Karna turned to the internet. One day on YouTube, he found a Nepali-language channel called Jeewit Bachan—Living Word. An Adventist elder was teaching directly from Scripture. The tone was gentle. The message made sense. “It felt like God was speaking to me through the screen,” Karna said. He and his wife began watching each night, praying and opening their Bibles together.
Their home became a classroom—and YouTube became their missionary.
Eventually, Karna reached out. The elder responded with kindness, leading to regular Bible studies and then a personal visit. After months of prayer, Karna and his family were baptized.
There are still countless others like Karna who are living in far-off villages, where no preacher can go. But Hope Channel can. The screen reaches where footsteps cannot. That’s why Hope Channel is not just a media platform. It is God’s tool to bring truth to the unreached.
In April 2025, Hope Channel Nepal officially launched with support from the Northern Asia-Pacific Division and Hope Channel International. It was more than a technical milestone. It was the beginning of hope for many still searching, still praying, and still waiting. And now, because of Hope Channel, the truth can find them right where they are.

Thousands Baptized in Malawi
Emmanuel M. Mkombezi, Hope Channel Malawi

Crowds gathered. Voices rose. And by the end of two weeks, more than 3,000 people had given their lives to Christ.
In May 2025, an evangelistic campaign swept across Lilongwe, Malawi, and the response was overwhelming. In collaboration with Adventist World Radio, Hope Channel Malawi supported a citywide effort that held meetings at 25 sites across Lilongwe. Each evening, communities gathered to hear messages of hope and truth.
The campaign brought together pastors, local church members, student evangelists from Andrews University, and a media team from Hope Channel Malawi—all working side by side to share the gospel across the capital.
The result was extraordinary. More than 3,000 individuals were baptized!
The series, Unlocking Bible Prophecies, focused on themes that stirred deep conviction—truth, hope, obedience, and the invitation to know Jesus personally. One man, Davie Zalira, was traveling past Mphwetekere on his way home from work when he heard something unfamiliar. He had attended many churches before, but something about the Sabbath message stopped him in his tracks.

“I had been attending different churches until the day I heard the preacher speak about keeping God’s commandments,” Davie said. “I was especially convicted about the fourth law—the Sabbath—and that made me join the Adventist Church.”
Davie was baptized shortly after, expressing joy at being united with Christ and the Adventist family. He shared his plans to join prayer groups in his local churches and seek guidance from pastors as he grows in faith.
The Word was preached, hearts were open, and heaven rejoiced. Now, the follow-up work rests with local churches. As Malawi embraces the gospel, it becomes part of a greater movement: to reach 1 billion people with the message of eternal hope.

A Digital Invitation, an Eternal Decision
Samuel Gil, HopeMedia Spain

It started with a scroll.
One evening, Dassia came across a HopeMedia Spain ad while browsing Instagram. Thanks to geolocation, it was part of a Bible study campaign running right in her city—Segovia, Spain.
The ad invited people to explore life’s biggest questions and discover what the Bible really says. Dassia clicked. She filled out the form. Her contact information was passed to a local tutor.
That single moment set her on a path of study, prayer, and transformation, and eventually, to giving her life to Jesus.
She’s not alone.
More than 3,000 people across Spain have responded to these digital invitations. In over 50 cities, local tutors, committed lay members trained to guide others through Scripture, are currently studying the Bible with nearly 300 individuals. So far, 40 people, including both immigrants and native Spaniards, have made the decision to be baptized.
The Holy Spirit is clearly moving in the digital space. And so is the church, praying, mentoring, and showing up right where people are.

How does it work?
A one-month campaign is launched in a specific city, investing just €5 per day.
People see ads on Instagram and Facebook through graphics and short videos (click here to see an example).
They fill out a brief form.
A local tutor receives their contact info and follows up within 24 hours.
The journey begins, from screen to Scripture.
This isn’t just digital strategy. It’s personal. It’s prayerful. And it’s bearing fruit. Every click is a chance for someone like Dassia to meet Jesus. This is what we do at Hope Channel. We meet people where they are—with truth, compassion, and the message of eternal hope.

From Drums to Hope: A New Day in Msalala
Mercy Kaanaeli, Hope Channel Tanzania

In the heart of Msalala District in northern Tanzania, where more than 375,000 people live, life has long moved to the rhythm of drums. For many years, the people of Msalala have used music and dancing not just for fun, but as a way to connect with their history, their spirits, and their beliefs.
Most people work as miners, farmers, herders, or small business owners. But deeper than their work is their culture, full of strong traditions, spiritual rituals, and charms worn for protection. In many homes, people do not pray to God for safety. Instead, they trust in the powers of their ancestors and use magic words or visit traditional healers.
Darkness, both physical and spiritual, has covered many lives. Then something began to change.
That change didn’t arrive by car or plane, but through a digital signal. The DarNet Event by Hope Channel Tanzania and AWR Tanzania brought a new message into homes across Msalala, one of love, grace, and transformation through Jesus Christ.
Soon, something remarkable happened.
A group of traditional drummers, people known for leading spiritual dances, came and asked a simple question: “How much does it cost to be baptized?”
That question shocked everyone. These men were hungry for the truth. They wanted more than rituals. They wanted peace, freedom, and God.
Showing up for their baptism, the men wore long dreadlocks—a sign of their spiritual past. But they hadn’t kept their hair to resist change. They kept it so everyone could witness their transformation for themselves.
Today, these same men no longer dance for spirits. They now lift their hands to praise Jesus Christ. They have taken off their charms and given their lives to God. They are now members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, walking in truth and filled with hope.
Now, Msalala is no longer just a land of tradition. It is becoming a land of praise, hope, and new beginnings.
